I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Prince Fielder is a jerk. Bad temper. Doesn’t talk to his famous dad over some childish BS. Beats up his own teammate. And now he acts like a big baby after getting hit by a pitch during a ballgame:
Milwaukee Brewers first baseman Prince Fielder was fined, but avoided a suspension for his postgame tirade in Los Angeles on Tuesday night. Fielder created a stir outside the Dodgers clubhouse when he went looking for former teammate Guillermo Mota, who hit him with a pitch during the game.
MLB.com reports that Bob Watson, MLB’s vice president of on-field operations, and umpires supervisor Mike Port investigated the incident on Wednesday before arriving at the decision. “I’m happy for Prince and I’m happy for us,” Brewers manager Ken Macha told the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. “I don’t condone what he did but we can move forward now and put this behind us.”
Grow the F up already.
