Let The Pleading Begin For LeBron

Frankly speaking I’m embarrassed at the way New Yorkers are literally begging for James to come here. Listen, as a longtime Knicks fan I know we’ve been suffering, but can we show some pride? I mean, there’s legitimate concerns about LB’s character and maturity level that should make people think twice before getting their knees dirty. Does he get us in the playoffs instantly? If he stays healthy, of course. But think about what his supporting staff would be (esp. with David Lee gone) and there’s no way we get past the 2nd round even if James is averaging 40ppg (certainly possible what with D’Antoni’s offense). Either way I just don’t think he’s leaving Cleveland…it’s literally his home, they worship him there and he’d be a God if he were to ever bring them a championship. With endorsement deals that can already take care of his great-great-great-great grandkids, it’s not like he needs the money, so to me it has to be about whether or not he thinks he can ever win in Cleveland vs. anywhere else. And that to me, starts with Cleveland getting Chris Bosh. No way if betrays Cleveland fans if they can promise LeBron that they’ll get him Bosh. As for the Knicks, we don’t need him, really we don’t. Wade is almost just as good and he’s a proven winner. Then too there’s Bosh and certainly Amare Stoudemire should get a call, but we gotta keep Lee and get one of the other top 4 to have a chance, just not LeBron.
